How icy? How much money?
The Lyrical Disgrace:
“I’m Icy as a icicle/
So much money…I valet park my bicycle”
- Soulja Boy from “Bingo by Gucci Mane Ft. Soulja Boy and Wacka Floppa Lame”
Part 1 of the disgrace:
Icy as an icicle? Wow. What gem of a simile are you gonna drop on us next? You’ve got more swag then swag? You come harder then hard? Your more amazing then amazing? Take a note from Jay, if your gonna come with a line like this at least be creative with it (“Flyer then a piece of paper bearin my name”). Pitiful excuse for a simile.
Part 2 of the disgrace:
Not to be outdone by the first half of the line, part 2 comes even weaker. So much money you valet park your bicycle huh? I’ve got a few questions:
- You mentioned your “Lambo” at the start of this verse, so why you using your bicycle to get around?
- Is valet parking for your bicycle more expensive then valet parking your car? If so howcome?
- Any venue that offers valet parking is probably a bit more fancy then your average venue. You mean to tell me they let you roll up in a bicycle and their attendant jumps on and rides it into the parking lot for you?
- HOW IS ROLLIN ON A BICYCLE CONSIDERED STUNTIN’ COMPARED TO ROLLIN IN A CAR?
Lines like these make me sick…they make it all to evident that they aren’t thinking at all about their lyrics (or maybe they are…don’t know which is scarier).
